Hi all,
I will be finishing my NS in August and I have received offers from both NUS (FASS intending to study economics) and Warwick (PPE). I'm torn between the two. I realize NUS is probably more reputable in Singapore and is ranked higher overall, but the PPE course Warwick offers appeals to me more and the economics department is ranked more-or-less on par with NUS. I feel like it would be an enriching experience to study abroad in the UK. Plus, I've never really lived in Singapore until now (I've always lived abroad) so I really don't feel the desire to go abroad like many other Singaporeans I know.
As for job prospects, I'm similarly torn. I wouldn't mind working in Singapore for a few years, but I do want to work overseas and not stay in Singapore my whole life. I love traveling, which is why I wanted to become a diplomat or some kind of embassy attache, or any similar job that allows me to move around.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
