Hello, my college doesn’t do study leave but the lessons are useless and I really wanted to do study leave but I’m scared I will not get entered for the exam at all. So I wanted to give myself study leave after I knew I’d officially be entered. Do you know when generally colleges and sixth forms enter their students officially for exams? So once I know I’m entered I don’t need to worry. Thanks.

Entries have to be finalised at this time of the year. But remember that the attendance is important as universities have the right to request it and might not be willing to accept you if your percentage is not high.

Thanks for your reply, I see, but will this only matter if I go through clearing or adjustment? Am I secure with the ones I’ve already been offered a place with? Thanks xo

Because it’s really hard when I attend college and do nothing constructive all day. If I spend that time at home revising I would get really good grades! I done that with AS maths last year and it went well if I stayed in college and didn’t give myself study leave I done really bad. But I only had maths last year so I only took 2 weeks off but now I have A level maths chemistry and biology and I really need the time!
