I applied for the MSc Politics of China 2018/19 entry at SOAS this February. I also applied for the MSc China in Comparative Perspective at LSE this February. My current gpa is 3.4 and I have a similar undergraduate background (also China studies) with the taught master program that I’ve applied for. I’m now mainly concerned about whether I got a chance in this program since the university I am now in is not among the top universities in Hong Kong and my gpa is not that good .. Is there anyone that is already in the program or have received an offer before would like to share your experiences with me here? Thx.

The chances of there being someone on those courses with the exact educational background and on TSR are slim.

If you’re worried then contact the universities directly to ask. They’re the only people who can speak with authority about their selection criteria.
