I will be sitting the ielts test in about a week and i need a 7/9 in all parts of the test for my uni.
It is quite easy for me except for the writing part where i get marks between 6.5 and 7.5 in the tests ive done so far.
My question is:say in the writing section you get a 6.8/9 will this figure get rounded up at 7/9 or down at 6.5/9 ?
I thought it is common sense in all exams to round up but someone told me that they actually round down which i found weird but i couldnt find a definite answer on the web.
So does anyone happen to know?
