1. How would you find the turning point of a quadratic graph when you are only given the y intercept(0,-10) and the coordinate of one intersection on the x axis (5,0)? Any help would be really appreciated.

Yes in the actual question the coefficient of x^2 is 1

I know the answer from the mark scheme I think it's 1.5 just don't have any idea how to do it

Ok, so here's my way of doing it, using what I was taught. I'm a grade 9 student, so I know it's right, just may be a little hard to understand. Hopefull you can read it!
