    Quick question, on starting IOT do you get your hair shaved? Heard mixed things! Some say yes some say it needs to be neat and short? Thanks!

    If it needs it, you'll be advised to go to the station barber.

    Save yourself the bother by turning up with short hair in the first place.

    You don't need a crew cut, 2 or 3 on the sides is plenty.

    I have a zero on the back and sides, top isn’t too long. Hopefully that’s alright..?

    You dont need to shave hair to join RAF but if it about shoulder lenght you will need to tie in up in a neat bun.
