I’m considering doing a law degree with the OU, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience either with the OU or law. I’m worried that my rubbish essay writing skills will mean I struggle a lot with doing a degree of any subject, law really interests me and the career paths that would be available do as well. I just wanted some advice

You can take some other courses with OU first to bring your essay-writing skills up.

Alternatively you could take an Access course which is explicitly designed to get people who've been out of education for some time to a university-standard. That course might leave more degree options open, should you decide you favour studying law at a brick uni.
