when should I expect a bleed on nexplanon watch

    hi so i took my last combined pill last Wednesday and had the implant fitted last Thursday, it was the last pill in my pack anyway, I usually start bleeding the Monday after. when can I start to expect a bleed? I just don't want any accidents🙈🙈 also seeing my boyfriend soon😉😉 so I don't want to start bleeding all of a sudden

    Did you not talk to your doctor about it or do any research before getting it?

    Each body may react differently to the implant. Some people don't get any bleeding at all while on it. While others suffer from constant spotting. Saying that you won't get bleeding for the next 3 years is as correct as saying that you will start bleeding tomorrow as there is no way to know.

    The only way to ensure you won't start bleeding in the first month would have been to get the implant fitted during the first few days of your bleed. That would almost guarantee no periods until at least the second month or so
