So basically guy's I am studying a BTEC Level 3 course which is equivalent to 2 A-Levels. I've recently applied for a foundation course at Sheffield Hallam University. The course is 'Extended Degree Programme in Computing' I got a conditional offer and the subjects to me obtaining the mentioned below.

80 UCAS points including at least 32 points from one A Level
or equivalent BTEC Nationals one AS Level can be counted towards the points total

OR ALTERNATIVELY 64 UCAS points from three A Levels including at least 32 points from one A Level or equivalent BTEC Nationals not including AS Levels.

I could aim for 80 but I doubt I'd get that high, however I'll try my hardest to get there. How my easiest choice is 64 points but there's also another problem which is I don't know any AS & A-Level exam centres near and the only one has been closed because the application dates have been surpassed.

Question is will I still get in IF I get 64 points from my course which is worth 2 A-Levels?

Contact admissions at the uni and double check. It's often A level or A level equivalent, but as they haven't specified this in your offer you need to contact them to ask

    Hi StrangerOnTheNet

I spoke to someone in the Admissions team and they told me that they can’t really decide on what they can offer until your results are published (results day). As it determines the tutors decision and what they’ll accept.
