So this is my first thread and I was just wondering what’s the actual answer for this question:

Sam wants to buy a sandwich from a shop. The shop sells 10 different sandwiches. Sam wants to buy a different sandwich on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. How many ways can he do this?

    I put 30 but I honestly don’t know, help?

Write the number of options for each day. Initially she can have any of the 10 then 9 left then 8. So how many combinations are there?

    Monday Tuesday Wednesday
    10 9 8

That would make sense, then I guess you'd multiply 10,9 and 8 to get 720?
