Hello lovelies, I’m really panicking, I’m applying for university’s just going through the interviews at the minute.

Basically I’m a single mum and on universal credits at the minute, just wondering how I will be affected? I’ve read how you basically have to survive from student loans alone and I just don’t understand how this would be possible?

Secondly, my little girls 3 starts nursery at 9am there’s no earlier breakfast clubs or anything I can get her into and finishes at 12, I’m just wondering if it’s possible to find out before accepting a place the typical days and hours so I can try to arrange some kind of childcare? Or will it be rude of me to ask? I’m really panicking as I don’t know what I’m going to do, thankyou for any help/advice

go to the unis open day, look at the course you want and ask the tutor these questions, also student finance will b around on open days you can ask them financial questions. also gov.co.uk student finance will give you a quick check guide to how much you could get on loans.
