So I've got offers both Exeter and Nottingham to study BA geography and can't decide which one to firm! Was just wondering what life, courses, facilities, leisure and mental health facilities are like at each and which university's better all round
    My offers are...
    Exeter: AAA
    Nottingham: AAB

I haven't studied at either university, so hopefully someone who has will be along soon. I do have experience of both cities though, and I would say they are very different cities. Obviously, the course/uni is more important, but you are going to live in the city for 3 years, so I would really think about what you want from a university experience and which city might give you that.

I would say Exeter doesn't have the reputation of being the most supportive place ever if you don't fit a certain mold.

I looked around Nottingham, and personally didn’t like it, but it came across as very sporty, big leafy and fairly isolated campus. The Geography department was pretty good, nice GIS and modelling suite, with computer suites etc. Nottingham also run several good international exchanges with universities in their China and Malaysia campuses, as well as with other universities in different countries, including the US and Australia. I know that the course at Nottingham is more flexible in terms of balancing human and physical than at Exeter, so you might consider if you have a strong preference for human as a deciding factor. Well done on your offers 😊
