    "[Nasrallah] criticized the practice of buying votes, calling it “haram and corruption.”

    “If you get bought, you, your kids, your grandkids might pay for it... a vote can cost $5,000 and some people said, 'don’t vote, just give me your ID card and here is some money.' But that vote will affect you.” He said the party had banned the practice.

    However, he also called on Hezbollah candidates to take more action, saying they need to explain why they are the best candidates or what their agenda contains. “It’s not enough just to say we are Hezbollah, these are the people and we’ll see you on May 6. We need to explain and listen.”
