Trash problem in rural Asian villages watch

    • Thread Starter

It’s the million dollar question; what do we do with all our rubbish?

I’m currently out in the sticks of Cambodia and it’s painfully obvious waste is a problem. At present the only options for getting rid of your trash is to throw it where it falls or to burn it.
For reasons I’m sure we’re all aware of, this ain’t good.

It’s a small town with basic facilities but a main provincial city about 10km away. The city mainly use landfill.

Does anyone have any ideas on reusing or recycling mass amounts of waste, such as plastic bottles and toothbrushes etc within these conditions?
How are you feeling in the run-up to Results Day 2018?
