I am considering food GCSE but I am not sure if it is the subject for me? Is it a basic subject? Will it take much time in and outside of school? Do you actually cook that much? Please help ASAP! I have to make my decisions in a couple days!

A lot of it (at my school) is theory work, rather than cooking. It’s about nutritional value, and the functions of things (like the function of yeast for example). It really depends if you’re willing to put the effort into the theory work, as well as do practical work, such as cooking.
