My little brother (12 years) keeps saying "I’m disabled" in a sing-song voice and "Kill me, kill me". I am actually quite frightened, I don’t know why he keeps doing it. He doesn’t have mental illness, he just keeps doing that.

I have taken to just ignoring him when he says that till he gets bored of doing it. But it upsets me a lot. Please help.

He’s just a kid. Let him do what he wants. And stop panicing, take a chill pill and relax.

Talk to him. Ask him if he sees/hears someone else and why he is saying it. Tread carefully and don't make it seem like a massive issue.

He’s a kid, children take the mic with stuff like this all the time. He probably knows it bothers you so likes doing it even more.
