How do I strengthen my Islamic faith? watch

As a teen practicing Islam in this day in age, being a committed religious muslim is more difficult than it has arguably ever been. I pray selectively even though i understand the consequences of not doing so. I want to become closer to God and be a better person spiritually but i don't know how. I'm doing my gcse's so i find myself busy all the time and i've been using it as an excuse although i shouldn't. My family are muslims but they are quite lenient.
    Any advice?

Try going to a Mosque, groups that do Islamic talks, listen to YouTube videos
