At the moment I'm taking Art, English Literature and Psychology but I'm really not enjoying Psychology. Ever since December I've been regretting taking it and wanting to do Biology instead - I really enjoy it and am thinking I might like to do something like zoology one day - but I have recently spoken to my school and they've said it's too late to swap. I don't know what to do because it's important to me that I do subjects I enjoy and that I leave school with the qualifications I need to keep my options open but I don't want to have to stay another year at school and make new friends whilst mine leave - I'm finding school hard already and due to various reasons find it hard to make friends at the moment. I was also considering doing an art foundation and a gap year before university but I'm worried I won't be able to apply for a student loan by then or I'll feel much older than other students at university. Does anyone have any advice or alternatives to repeating the year or continuing to do psychology?

I would say, if you can, repeat it. If you do not love something, then do not do it. Not only will it be more difficult for you to get a good grade if you don't like the subject, but also it will just be a waste of your time.

It all depends on if you can get into your chosen university with your chosen course without that particular A level and meet their requirments/

I'm not really sure for definite which course I want to do yet and where but it'll either be English, Art, something biology based or law/criminology. I'm going to apply for an art foundation this year though and a deferred place doing one of the other subjects. Doing an art foundation would mean I'll have an extra year to apply for a degree if I need it as well.
