I have an offer to study Politics at Exeter this September, but I am struggling to decide whether or not to take it. I have offers from two other universities that I am seriously considering too. I was wondering if any other prospective or current students would be able to tell me why/why not I should accept my place!
My main concern is that it would be quite quiet, a friend of a friend studied English at Exeter a few years ago and didn't like it because the night life wasn't too good; is this a one-off experience/opinion?
Also, what is the teaching like? At other universities that I have looked at there is a balance between lectures and seminars/classroom-like work - I couldn't find any information about this on the website?

Exeter is a lovely city, and I certainly would love to have studied there or even live there. This is coming from someone who is from London and loves the city life.
