Hi! My name is Alisha and I've currently got an offer from the UNI OF B'ham for Biological Sciences 2019 entry.
Has anyone else done this course / know someone who is currently studying it?
How interesting do you say the course is? Is there lots of practical work? What do first year students do mainly?

Apart from that, I will soon be looking at accommodation! I am a social person, enjoy a few occasional parties here and there and definitely can get along with people. However, I don't prefer if there place I live in is crowded / loud. I prefer ensuite and catered halls.
    Any accommodation preferences or suggestions?

Hi. I’ve done Human Biology at UoB (in my final year). My course is very very similar to Biologically sciences, with only a few different modules. Ummm there’s not an overwhelming amount of practical work but there’s a decent amount. I was quite intimidated by practical work at first but then you get used to it and it’s pretty good. Loved my course and I’m sure you’ll love yours.
First year student modules can be found on the uni course website.

I’m a stay at home student so can’t help you about the accommodation, sorry!
