I've not long left university and have achieved a BA Honours degree in social sciences, specialising in sociology and criminology (with a bit of politics).
However, I'm struggling to find a job. I'm really interested in social research and report writing, and I think I want to enter a career involved in the publication of reports on different kinds of social phenomena (i.e. the likes of reports you see on ONS or published by other third sector groups). I'm open to hearing about other potential careers though, since I feel like I'm going in a circle trying to find my ideal job.
Most of what I've seen so far is jobs for business and human resources graduates, so I don't exactly know where to look or what to look for. I'm on a ton of job sites and get alerts everyday, yet I struggle to see anything that sounds like I'd be good at.
Any sort of social sciences careers advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Edit: Oops. I think I put this in the wrong category. Might've been better in "
Career sectors and graduate employment".
