So I have a friend at school, who I think I have a crush on. He's quite funny and sensitive, and I'll admit he does have a few flaws (he can come across a bit rudeirky but he's very protective of his friends. I would consider myself a quirky and excitable, and maybe a bit ditzy.
He's shown a few signs of liking me... but he's a close friend. Do I say something?

I'd say do it. I was best friends with my current girlfriend (still am) and was a bit scared of letting her know how I felt, but when I ended up telling her it led to a really caring relationship which I wouldn't trade for anything. A lot of that came from us being close friends because we had already dealt with the getting to know you phase and had a baseline of already caring for each other, so I think you should at least hint at how you feel.
