DofE watch

    Hi I’m really stuck im doing my DofE now and I have my skill and volunteering sorted but I’m stuck on physical? I know lots of people say to go to a gym but my DofE teacher said that we have to get a Personal instructor what do I do ???

    I am also doing the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. I think the most important thing (if you aren't very sporty like myself) is to try something which you are interested in and haven't done much of before - I am not exactly Roger Federer, but I am going to do tennis for my DofE physical section. I haven't played a lot of tennis, but I want to try this new sport (which I am quite enjoying). Whether I enjoy it or not - and luckily, I do - isn't actually important: what is important is that you try something new. Go out of your comfort zone and, even if you find the sport hard, you can say that you gave it a go.
