Hi, I have been looking into my university choices for a while and studying languages i have applied for different language vatiations at different places. My 2 favourite at the moment are Uni of Sheffield (3 languages) and Uni of Hull (Italian and Spanish). Im currently studying Spanish and French and up until now hadmt considered continuing my French, but after all the hard work i think it would be a shame not to. I would like to learn a new language. I seem to prefer the atmosphere of Hull but the course at Sheffield and its making my decision hard. Do I go for the course I like the most or for where I might feel more at home?

It depends on how much you want to learn your new language. I currently study 3 languages at Southampton (although I admit I was lucky as I liked both the atmosphere and course).

Remember that Uni isn't just about the course, but about the atmosphere and your social life as well. If you aren't 100% set on learning a new language, my advice would be to go for the Uni which you can see as being your home for the next 4 years. But, in the long run, you might regret not taking up another language.

It's a hard choice and one which I went through myself! Any other questions, you can PM me!
