I am going to study Psychology.
I am wondering if anyone here studies in one of these universities?
If yes, care to share some thoughts about these universities.
For example, how the lecturers are, how the area is like and stuff i have to be wary of.

I am also assuming universities consider out giving out places for accommodation once it's a definite i will go to that university, therefore in order to get a place, i must check the university as a firm offer?

What are your priorities for a university? What are your thoughts about the different courses you’ve shortlisted?

Different universities allocate accommodation differently. It’s your responsibility to research your universities and find out when and how to apply for accommodation.

I study at Reading and would recommend it. Everything is on campus and the town center is a short walk away - lots to do in terms of shopping and nights out.
This is just my general experience, obviously I don't know what the psychology department is like. Message me if you want to know anything else about Reading.

The main concern for me: I do not want to be stuck in a university that'll cause me more harm then good. My main objective for university is personal growth and to study a subject i see a future with. I am hoping for engaging lectures and a nice environment that'll amplify my want to learn rather than discourage me.

I guess pricing would be a big priority since i would not have my parents backing.

I like Reading because of the NHS facilities they have access to and how they pride themselves on being a research based university. I like Buckingham because they offer a 2 year course and the area is nice. I like Plymouth primarily due to the area.
