1. Hi! I'm new here...
can anyone help me with this single question:

2+3/x=7/√x

Thanks!
2. Multiply both sides by x to get 5=7x/root(x)
x divided by root(x) is root(x)
So now we have 5=7root(x)
Square both sides
25=49x
x=25/49

Hope this helped!
3. Is it 5/x or 2+ 3/x?
4. It's 2 + 3/x

By the way, Hi...

It's 2 + 3/x

By the way, Hi...
In that case another way of writing 2 in terms of x is 2x/x. Add this to 3/x and set it equal to the other equation. Can you solve from there?

another approach to this is square both sides then expand the equation on the left hand side and then I hope u can take it from there

You could multiply by x and then you have a quadratic equation in sqrt(x) than can be solved by factorising and then once you've solved for sqrt(x) you can find x.
8. Everyone, thanks a lot!
I could find the answer now...
Hope you guys would help me again next time!
9. Did you get:

Spoiler:
Show
x=1/4 or x=9?
10. Yes, I got it... Thank you, I really appreciate it!

2+3=x(7/√x)
5 = 7/x
5x=7
x=7/5

This looks right to me. If I'm wrong then otherwise correct me.

Well, actually, the equation is 2 + 3/x = 7/√x
Thanks, by the way..!

Yes I know, I formed the equation by taking the x from 3/x to the other side so that it multiplied the 7/√x

This is incorrect, multiplying both sides by x means you include the 2 so it is not 2+3

Somehow I got x=1/4 or x=9 from 4x²-37x+9=0
So, thank you for your help!
