I feel like there is no point in anything.
Sometimes I drink to forget about things, because the alcohol makes me feel peaceful and sleepy. So through out the day I feel the constant need to have a drink.
    What's wrong with me?

A lot of things could be wrong. for instance, you might have depression - before I got diagnosed with depression I'd drink all day every day as a form of escapism. Do you have any other symptoms? It might be an idea to see your GP because relying on alcohol isn't healthy.

I would agree that it sounds like you have a case of Depression and that you would likely significantly benefit from vivsiting your GP in order to voice some of these concerns

I know the feeling, it’s a horrible one. I tried to cover it with a lot of self destructive habits like drinking, but really those are just pain killers, they don’t help in the long term.

Think about how you feel when you don’t drink, and what pain you’re trying to stop with the alcohol. As others have said, a chat with your GP will be helpful and isn’t as scary as it sounds. They deal with this all the time and won’t judge you on it. Make a note on your phone or a piece of paper of the symptoms you’re having, even if it feels silly it’s good to have if you’re not good at talking.

You sound close to relying on alcohol to get through the day, it’s time to take control of the situation and get to a happier place. You deserve better. :hugs:
