Hi, I'm having trouble with this question:
1000 tonnes of impure copper ore is dug out of the ground. Only 1% of this is pure mineral, CuFeS2. What mass of the Cu could be made from the 1000 tonnes of the impure ore?

1000/100 = 10 tonnes of pure mineral
Mr of the mineral = 183.5, Ar of copper = 63.5
63.5/183.5 x 100 = 34.6% by mass of copper
34.6% x 10 tonnes = 3.46 tonnes
That's what I'd go for anyway, someone please correct me if wrong!
