    I would say as long as you don't feel uncomfortable around him and think there is no issue, don't get him into trouble by reporting him. Pay attention to the way he treats you though and compare it to other teachers maybe... But I personally wouldn't do anything as long as you don't see it as a problem.

    That's what I was thinking, I would never report him anyway unless it was proper inappropriate and was sexual (which its not) its just that my other friend is very insistent that I am treated different to the rest of the class

    I think that happens sometimes, I know a lot of my teachers get on with people they have known longer differntly than with me, so I just think it's something that happens as one gets to know and understand each other ... but if there are more people in your class bothered about it because they think you're his 'favourite' or something, maybe they should try and talk to him ?! I don't think there's anything you can change that would not bring you into a very awkward situation. (;
