Can you explain exactly what you mean by "the masters element"? I know some PGCEs are offered in combination with masters courses, not sure whether this is your case.

Anyhow, thread moved to Teacher training, teaching and education jobs.

I would like to give this a bump as I’d also like to know. Logically thinking, I don’t think it makes any difference, except for if you want to carry the credits forwards to a masters degree.
