Hi All,

Just wondering how I can revise for GCSE English Lit effectively. I have flash cards for quotes but that's about it. Hoping you can share some of your revision strategies for this subject here.

My texts are:
- A Christmas Carol
- Macbeth
- Lord of the Flies
- Power and Conflict Anthology Poetry

Many Thanks,

You should analysis the text and separate it into the themes into poverty, rich, nature etc for each one. You should only revise for power and conflict the ones that are most likely to come up such as (AQA) tissue, poppies, emergrie(sorry i have spelt that wrong) , London and all the pairs it matches up too really well. You should analysis the most popular extracts for Macbeth and Christmas carol. Also interleave which means mix both language and literature at a time don't just do one. Look at examiner's report for help.
