I have currently passed my ASTs for both trades passed my interview for Electrician, passed my medical as if I was applying for General Tech (Electrical) as the Avionics branch was closed however after ringing a few days ago I found my original trade (Acionics) is back open and if I pass my fitness in April I should be eligible to request a trade change back to Avionics (if I pass the interview for it) however I just wanted to know
Apart from the actual job itself, what would I be doing differently with the two trades in comparison,
    Travelling more?
    Wages after 6/7 years?
    Job after in civvie street?
    More respected/treated better?
    Etc etc
    Any help appreciated thanks
I’m currently 17 years old if that makes any difference.
