Has anyone had any experience with switching courses during your first year?
I'm applying to University of Birmingham for Bsc in Economics and Political science and I wondered if it was possible to switch to straight Economics after/during the first year?
Economics is not a prerequisite A-Level for even the Straight Economics Bsc and considering I'm predicted an A* for the subject so I think i'd be able to catch up on anything missed.
Regardless of institution or course i'd greatly appreciate any info, thanks!

Should be fine as long as you switch reasonably early and if there is a large overlap between EconPolSci and straight politics (Not clear in your posts whether or not you want to switch to straight politics or straight econ).
