    i am in my first year of university at chester and due to various reasons want to drop out and apply for somewhere closer to home for next year. i was wondering if i am eligible for student finance again if i drop out?

    Hi Olivia,

    Students are entitled to the length of their new course including an additional year minus any previous study, for example, if your new course is a 3 year course the funding calculation would be 3+1=4-1=3 years worth of funding available.
