Hi i was wondering what my rights are if any regarding my brother in law.
Tonite he was run over while being chased by security gaurds out of a store and they chased him right onto a main dual carriageway with a 50mph speed limit atm we know hes got 2 bilateral fractures in both knees, broken ribs possible broken elbow/arm,lacerations to his head, arms, hands, feet and toes so hes in abad way.
Im just wondering if it is legal for the security guards to chase him off of the premises onto and over a dual carriageway?

this is a very troubling situation. to me it appears unreasonable to chase a suspect onto a busy road. i am sure that an experienced lawyer will be able to get compensation for your brother in law.

The short answer is this website is not to give you free legal advice.

Part of the reason you cannot get free legal advice here. Few are qualified. No one will be insured to give you out-of-hours legal advice. Most importantly, no one will be able to ascertain sufficient detail of reliable information to form a solid opinion. Your short story is rather incomplete.

Seek legal advice, not the opinion of untrained strangers off the Internet.

No doubt. More than a few. But there is still insufficient detail provided for anyone to give even slightly useful advice.
