I find with every conservative I speak with, they are so much more ambitious than people who support labour. Those labourites seem to feel that they have been dealt a rough hand and want to blame the government or whoever they can instead of bettering themselves.

I’m a libertarian so will vote based on what concerns me more, this is just an observation while talking to different people

It depends. I’m more labour because I’m not well off, I’ve been on free school meals before. I can personally understand and see the need for benefits for people that need them just due to bad salaries and single parenting, etc, as well as the ridiculously large divide in salaries. That’s my main reason. I’m sure I would agree with some conservative views but overall I’m inclined the other way. I want to make sure people get opportunities equally.

I think this is more a case of confirmation bias than anything else. Left wing people tend to hang around with left wing people. Right wing people hang around with right wing people.

The end result is everyone ends up thinking that their side is more intelligent and more ambitious than the other.

    Meh.
