    Hi everybody,

I'm filling my DBS check form in these days. During the last 5 years I've changed so many addresses and travelled through so many countries.

Checking my passport, I realised that I put slightly wrong from-to dates of a job I had in Columbia. I arrived and left one month and a half before the period of time I wrote in UCAS application (arrived at the end of January instead of March, left in September instead of November). My university will check it and they will discover my mistake. Should I worry about that? Email university to inform them that I did wrong in my UCAS application?

Thank you so much for your advice

I'm afraid I don't know what a DBS is! My unis never asked for one, does everyone have to fill it? Where do I get it from?

It depends on which course you applied for. I got accepted for PGCE course, and in that case, filling DBS check form is mandatory.

As long as the DBS check dates are right there’s no issue - if they’re not, they will send it back and you simply fill it out again, or at least that’s my experience (I put addresses in the wrong order but with the correct dates back when I was a carer) so it shouldn’t be a problem
