Care for Cognitively Impaired watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hello all

I am a student nurse, and my instructor has mentioned to me that I may not feel comfortable working with patients who are cognitively impaired. When I am giving a bed bath, I am worried that the patient will be uncomfortable, will not be able to tell me that they are uncomfortable, will not understand what I have to do, etc. I would appreciate any tips to overcome this hurdle.
