    Hello!

I am currently a Year 9 student studying at a British international school in Asia. And I need to choose the subjects I want to take for my IGCSEs.

In my school, English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science, Mandarin and Global Perspectives is compulsory, leaving us students to choose three additional subjects, as our school has our own PE program, but it's not IGCSE and it's only for us to stay active.

I have three categories to choose from, categories 1, 2 and 3. Some subjects appear in more than one category to give us more options.
    Category 1:
    Economics, Geography, History, Psychology
    Category 2:
French, Spanish, German, Art & Design, Music, Drama, PE, Computer Science, Liberal Arts
Category 3: STEM, Business Management, Economics, Geography, History, Psychology, Art & Design, Music, Drama, Computer Science

But the thing is, I want to take Spanish, because I enjoy learning Spanish and my father’s side of the family usually converse in Spanish, because they grew up in Latin America. I also want to take PE, as you can probably tell by my username I like football and other sports too, and I think I want to take up something related to sports medicine in the future. I also really enjoy Art & Design and I want to take one creative subject. Finally, I want to take Computer Science, but not as much as the other subjects I listed previously. I know I can’t choose all, also for Category 1, I don’t know what to take between Geography and History.

I was hoping if perhaps you guys can give me some advice on what to choose?

    Thanks!

    Hi ~
    hope i'm not too late
Personally i recommend you to choose Geography instead of history because i think it has less content than history

you can choose computer sciences in category 2 instead of Spanish because you can learn and practice a language indepently but if you don't want to stress yourself choose spanish or art and design because they say computer sciences is quite hard ( i do my language, geography, ICT, and sociology )
    so i suggest :
    category 1 : Geography
category 2 : PE or Spanish
category 3 : Art and design
