The University of Bradford is well known for being inclusive, welcoming and friendly. The main campus sits in the heart of the city of Bradford which is diverse and vibrant where 140 languages are spoken.
Over the years we have ensured students from all groups and communities feel safe and are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of gender, disability, ethnic origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital status, age, or nationality.
As an inclusive university we feel it is important to tackle challenging issues that may affect our forthcoming students and as such we celebrate diversity all year around.
In February we highlighted LGBT History Month and the community, their contributions to society and their safety at work and in education. On 12-16 March we are excited to hold our Diversity Festival where students can enjoy thought-provoking and fun events. This isn’t just for students, anyone can attend and get involved in the activities that take place. It is an opportunity to think a little differently and experience the diverse world we live in.
There are many benefits to studying in Bradford but in particular we work hard to offer a positive and safe environment for you to be yourself.
