I have one on the 23rd of March. I have to bring an essay along, what on earth about?

If you're unsure, email the department. For Theatre we had to write an A4 review of a show we'd seen recently. I would imagine yours will be something similar - a review of a photographer's work that you've seen recently.

Have you not done an essay during A-level (or foundation if you're doing that)? I've done three major essays that I'm bringing in, one 6,000 one I did at A2 and two smaller ones I did during my Foundation.

I've done loads of essays but for English and media, I wasn't sure if they have to be for photography.

I guess it'd help if they were for Photography, but they're probably just wanting to look at your writing/analysis skills so those would probably be alright.
