Filmmaker Michael Moore was trying to make then point that historically, men, apposed to women, have a habit of breaking and destroying things, however it back fired a bit. Moore tweeted:

"No women ever invented an atomic bomb, built a smoke stack, initiated a Holocaust, melted the polar ice caps or organized a school shooting."

However, twitter user Jessica Ellis show that women were involved in the creation of the nuclear weapon (Elizabeth Graves) contrite to the melting of the ice caps (Ceri Powell who is the head of global exploration for Shell) and were involved in the Holocaust (Ilse Koch, a commandant of Buchwald).

Ellis however didn't share this to brag or tear down women, but to simply highlight that women do not conform to a Victorian notion that "women are pure" and "are not ivory monuments". Being ethically good is not limited to a single gender and that "goodness [doesn't] come out of [women's] vaginas".

You can read more on the story here.

What do you make of this? Does Ellis have a point?

    No, shes wrong.

By and large the biggest atrocities have been committed by men, with a majority of men being involved in each, and only a very few examples of women being involved.

But... the problem with Moore's point is that, whilst yes he is right that yes men can be very destructive and harmful.. he ignores the fact that men are also Laregly responsible for the vast majority of good things we have in modern society, and progress we have made. Men built the 21st century world.

That's what you will always see when you compare capabilities of men and women, men hit the extremes, but women average better in the middle. There will always be more men in prison for awful crimes, but their will also always be more male inventors and pioneers of business/innovation. Men are both the best of us, and the worst of us. Women on average though are more competent, but less likely to reach the extremes of any spectrum.

Interesting Michael Moores feminazi logic; Men have contributed more to evil than women. Men are bad women are good.

Now lets apply this logic to inventions and discoveries. Men have been responsible for the vast majority of scientific discoveries. I guess that means men are good and women are bad...

The contradictions of feminism....comical, no, sexist and criminal.

I think the point here is that theyre rarely solely done by men.
Women aided in the Holocaust, Women are just as guilty as men for global warming and I can name numerous mass murdering women over the years. To say its all mens fault is simply wrong, not to mention fairly sexist.

The Holocaust isn't that what Jews largely from Europe went to Palestine and committed?

Seriously people wake up there haven't been any gas chamber plans found

There are no gas chambers they are just buildings used for other purposes that the likes of the Soviets altered (look up Auschwitz alterations by Soviets) to make it look like they could have been used

Show me any document, any proof of a single gassed body.

You can't. It does not exist.

How people can believe so many were gassed where are these gassed bodies what proves they were gasssed? unbelievable.
