    Hi

I am filling out form PR1 and am not sure if it requires my own personal income from employment.

I am over 25 (independent student) living with partner and have been employed for the past few years. I assumed our household income would be based on both mine and my partner's income from employment in 2016/17, however, the form seems to ask only for my partner's income, is this correct?

    Thank you

Your income isn't counted when assessing household income for student finance.

    Hi Charlie,

You can be confident that it is only your partner that needs provide their income details for the tax year 2016/2017. This is the household income that will be used in the assessment.

We only ask on the form for a student to provide details of unearned income if any.

    Thanks Rona
