I got my prelim results back recently and for my critical essay I got a 16 - pretty good, but I think I can go higher. But I'm struggling to actually sit down and revise for it, I'm not sure if I should if I should try reread the text, or just use a study guide, or pick out quotes, or go over my notes, or just write. What are the most effective ways to revise for a critical essay?
