I'm truly terrible at maths. I have difficult in understanding a question or a small task like fractions. I really want to improve alot in maths but I can't seem to find a really good way to handle maths things.

I have dyslexia so that pretty much the big issue of why I'm bad at maths. I kind of know some thru thing that can help like me become better at maths like Routine and structuring. How can some one like me improve better each day ?

I just want to become better at studying like everyone else.

The best way to revise maths is to go over the concepts, then practise, practise, practise!!!

Get help from your teachers, maybe go to support sessions if your school has them.

start small, go one topic at a time and don’t worry about what other people are doing, just keep practising and go as slowly as you need to until *you* get it.

There's a lot of online material. There are youtube videos. If you suffer from dyslexia, you might benefit from a video with animations.

This might be for kids so maybe too silly but there's plenty similar out there:

Once you think you understand the concept of something, then you can just do a little practice every day.

Personally, I like to make a large “mind map” of all the equations and sometimes examples if need be then use that to do practice questions and then try some practice questions without the sheet and see how many equations/techniques you can remember, hope this helps!! X

I'm exactly the same, I find other subjects like biology and history easier to revise as you can write notes and revision cards but maths.....nope!
I've found the best method for me (Year 11) is past papers, learning from mistakes seems to be working at the moment!
    good luck!!

Just need to practice lots of questions! Start on one topic an really try and consolidate it, if you run out of questions do them over again. Then move onto a new topic, try more and then at some point go back to the first one to see if you can still do the questions
