My secondary school, currently has 40 students in our year (not many) and in our science’s the higher group is full with around 28 of the students in their and due to this, me and another friend have been dropped a while ago to foundation to make room, bearing in mind we where hitting 7’s and 8’s, and after a long time of being promised to be put in higher gsces as long as we revise, we have been dropped into the foundation tier GSCE, so is their anyway, at home we can change ourselves to the higher exam?

I think you can change if you are on higher or foundation now as its 2 months before the exam. Talk to your exams officer and teachers and they should be able to change it . Sometimes they get charged for changing it but if you really want to do the higher paper then I would recommend asking your parents/carers to call up the school and talk to them about moving you to higher especially if you are getting 7/8's because you would be limiting your self to a grade 5 if you did the foundation paper.

The only way of changing is to persuade your school to change your entry.
