I'm doing this at the moment

https://www.runnersworld.co.uk/train...ning-schedules

I'm on week three and it's going amazingly. I have improved so quickly. Just come back from a just-after-sunset jog in the new winter snow and feel great.

Anyone else found any good beginner/intermediate running routines?

I think when I finish this I'll just maintain 3 runs per week at 30 mins each. I don't care about time/distance at this stage.

I've previously followed the "Couch to 5k" program.

It's a great way for beginners to get to a good level of running.

You run three times per week, interchanging periods of walking and running. As you progress you slowly walk less and run more until you run non stop for 30 minutes.

The app I used was called "Get Running", I think it's available on most smartphones.
