I'm currently in year 12 & im really struggling with French at the moment. I struggle to think of things on the spot & I learn vocab regularly however when I go back a couple of weeks later I have already forgotten most of it. I can't think of things to say on the spot. I would really appreciate if someone could help me with some revision tips, techniques & general advice thanks

Hi! I’m also in year 12 doing A Level French and hopefully I can give you some advice. With learning vocab, how do you go about learning it? Have you tried using Quizlet as I found it so useful for vocabulary but yeah you need to do it regularly for it to stick. Maybe you could make notes of the topics you’re learning as you go along so you’re more prepared for the speaking when you have to think of the spot? I also recommend getting a grammar book and do exercises regularly to improve your writing skills :-)

Hi thanks so much for your reply! I use Quislept however perhaps I should go over the sets more often but I just have so many!!
Yes that's a good idea! Do you think it's better to do that on quizlet or just on paper? & yeah I have the Heinemann grammar book which one of our teachers sets us grammar out of to do
