Talking to parents and sixth form tutor about changing courses watch

    I know what I want to do as a career, however when approaching post 16 education, I did not. I had a few very vague routes and after 20+ uni prospectuses and a term and a half into sixth form, I decided that I no longer wanted to take on those routes, I had at the time forgotten another of my preferences for what I wanted to be. My friends are very supportive of what I want to do. I now know exactly what course I want to do and it’s enough to last till I’m 18, which of course is the age in which I have to stay in some form of education till.

    I don’t know how I’m going to approach my parents and tutor about this, because with them, I’m very conservative about how I feel about things like these.
    Any advice on how I should proceed?
