In many ways women’s rugby can be more violent than male rugby yet we get less funding and less recognition. I’d love to hear opinions as to why people think this is.

You can't really complain about it it's what the public finds more entertaining. This is the same between woman's football and men's football. Men's get more recognition because it gets more sponsors, people buying tickets more fame etc...

Because more people enjoy watching men's rugby I guess, as well as men's rugby being more established.

men's rugby has existed for many many years whereas women's rugby is fairly recent by comparison.
It's like comparing Olympics to World championships, although more countries qualify (thus more athletes) in the world championships the Olympics is still the key event to win because it is the oldest and most recognised.Posted on the TSR App. Download from Apple or Google Play
